Receiving your CNS account and keio.jp account

You can confirm your CNS account and keio.jp activation key on SFC ITC website from Mar.25, 10:00am. Please confirm them soon. However please activate your keio.jp account on and after Apr.1, 8:30am.

- You must activate your keio.jp account before course registration.

Course Registration System User Manual

Student ID Card Issuance

Date and time: 9:30⁠-15:30 on Tuesday, Apr. 2
Location: Office of Student Services counter on the first floor of the A Building at SFC
Documents to be submitted: Student Information Card (Make sure to complete the reverse side as well.)
 *You will require your Student ID card when undergoing the annual health check. If you are unable to receive it on the above date and time, pick it up at the Office of Student Services counter on the first floor of the A Building at a later date (on weekdays 9:15-16:50) as soon as possible.
-The office staff will verify your identity using the photograph submitted at the time of enrollment registration.

The Student ID Card cannot be picked up by anyone other than students themselves.

-Be sure to check your name and date of birth on your Student ID Card and registration sticker (issued with your Student ID Card). Your name on your Student ID Card will appear on documents including various certificates, so be sure to check your name in detail such as the spelling, order, and your middle name if you have one. If your student ID Card was issued with an error in your name or other information, carry out the necessary procedures to correct information at the Office of Student Services counter on the first floor of the A Building by no later than Friday, Apr. 26.

Academic Calendar

  • Please confirm the schedule on the Student Website "Academic Calendar".
  • You will find information about the curriculum and the course registration on the Student Website "Cautions Regarding Online Course Registration".
  • You need a CNS account to view the detailed syllabus on "SFC Syllabus Search".
    If you enter the Master Program from the undergraduate school in SFC, please use your account of the undergraduate until Mar. 28. You will be able to use the one of graduate school on and after Mar. 29.
  • Please check K-LMS (communication system related to study, research and classes) for information regarding courses. You need a keio.jp account to log in K-LMS as well.
  • Students who want to take Program Courses (HEISETSU) / courses for undergraduate at SFC that have restrictions on registration besides Course Registration should ask course lecturers to add to the list at the first class. If you want to take courses in the second half of the semester, you need to obtain permission via e-mail and register for courses during the registration period.

      Application Documents after passing the internal selection
      1. Two letters of recommendation written in English by two professors from a previous university or graduate school (no designated form) (not mandatory but recommended)
      2. Official undergraduate transcript and the Certificate of Graduation (Submission of Apostille for the certificate of graduation is also necessary)
      3. Official certificate of Enrollment and the Transcript at Keio University Graduate School of Media and Governance (Submission of Apostille for the certificate of Enrollment is also necessary)
      4. A copy of passport
      5. Proof of Funds(Must be original copies)

  • Japanese Language Course Guidance for international students and returnees
  • New international students and returnees planning to take Japanese courses in the spring semester of 2024 need to take Japanese Level Check Tests and consult with the Japanese language instructor. Please visit the SFC Japanese language Section website (https://japanese.sfc.keio.ac.jp/wp/) and complete Steps 1, 2, and 3 by *April 1*. *On April 4 afternoon*, the oral test will be conducted on campus at the Japanese Language Section office (λ207). The oral test will be around 10 minutes per person. The time for the oral test will be announced via email individually by April 2 to the email address you provided in Step 3. Please check your email.

  • Keio Japanese Courses (KJC) Students who want to take Keio Japanese Courses at Mita Campus should read the application guideline carefully and establish procedures correctly. If you have questions, please contact the office of Japanese Language Program Center for Japanese Studies jlp-inquiry@adst.keio.ac.jp.

    • Please refer to the "Keio Japanese Courses Guidebook" after online registration. The period of online registration which is mandatory is from Mar.11(Mon.) 3:00pm to Mar.21(Thu.)10:00 (JST).
