She has achieved outstanding results with getting students involved in confronting issues that pertain to reducing garbage, and in working towards achieving carbon neutrality. She has made significant contributions towards creating a sustainable campus within the limited time of her tenure at SFC.

Professor

As dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care (2019-2023), she was committed to improving the educational and research environment of the undergraduate faculty. During the pandemic in particular, she established a business continuity plan and provided support for faculty and staff members. On the academic side, she has contributed greatly to the establishment and development of the field of genetics nursing as president of the Japanese Society of Genetic Nursing.

As a neurosurgeon, he supervises a research laboratory whose objective is to explore the type of clinical anatomy that can be integrated with nursing education. He has been sincerely engaged with students' intellectual curiosity and contributed to the development of education that only the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care can offer as a nursing faculty of a comprehensive university.

She provided palliative care education for medical staff at the Keio University Hospital Palliative Care Center while engaging in education and research on mindfulness-based cognitive therapy as a researcher at the Mindfulness & Stress Research Center at Keio University.

From the onset of COVID-19's spread to the present day, she has made significant contributions by devising a system of infection control measures and a Symptom Tracker (Health Management Chart) to ensure that undergraduate students can safely conduct on-site training.
