Cultivation of Researchers Who Will Guide Information Society Governance
Project Outline
The objective of this project is to develop research students who will be in the vanguard of a global information society. To realize this goal the project proposes practical educational courses such as fieldwork courses, internship courses and research project courses with overseas graduate schools that utilize face-to-face and remote educational techniques. Furthermore, the project also includes a new international double degree program for the master's students. In other words, master's students can now obtain two Master's degrees (Master of Arts and Master of Media and Governance) from Keio University and its partner university after completing one-year coursework at the partner university during the enrollment at Keio University. As the project creates a more conducive collaborative research environment, remote lectures will be made available to students of Keio and its partner universities. It implies that a master's student from either Keio University or its partner university will get the opportunity to take courses of the partner university by attending remote lectures. In other words, international collaborative research project courses will become the foundation for collaborative research education.
