International Cooperation Agreements between SFC and Overseas Universities / Research Institutions
As of October 2008, Keio University SFC has successfully concluded international cooperation agreements with nine universities and research institutions.The purpose of the agreements is to exchange information in the form of publications, instruction materials and other results of teaching and research, support mutual visits of faculty members, exchange graduate and/or undergraduate students, promote joint research activities, and participating in seminars and conferences organized by the respective parties.| Name of Universities / Research Institutions | Country / Region | Year and Month of Signing | SFC Faculties / Graduate Schools Involved |

Exchanges with Overseas Universities / Institutions
Including the agreements mentioned above, there are cooperation / student exchange agreements concluded between Keio University and 216 overseas universities /research institutions in more than 40 countries and regions in the world. (as of February, 2008) A number of faculty,administrative staff and students go abroad every year to conduct research and examination and actively pursue academic exchanges in various fields.

Procedure to Conclude International Cooperation Agreement with Overseas University / Research Institution
The agreement between SFC and other overseas university / research institution, is to be concluded with the approval of the International Exchange Promotion Committee and the Joint Steering Committee(Graduate School of Media and Governance, Faculty of Policy Management, and Faculty of Environment and Information Studies) and / or the equivalent meeting at Graduate School of Media and governance and Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care. For any proposed agreement, please contact the International Exchange Promotion Section.
Those who wish to propose agreement at the University level should contact the Organization for Global Initiatives (OGI), Mita campus.
Requirements for Conclusion of International Cooperation Agreement at SFC
The International Exchange Promotion Committee at SFC set the following requirements for conclusion of International Cooperation Agreement:
- The counterparty must be an overseas educational and / or research institution.
- The counterparty must have a history of interaction of some kind with SFC at faculty and / or laboratory level.
- The agreement must be related to education and / or research, and targeted at students and / or faculty members.
- The agreement must contribute not only to the targeted students and / or faculty members, but also to SFC at large.
