Late May for Application Period I and Early November for Application Period II (tentative)
Timing of Admission
April or September
Applicants must choose their desired timing of admission when applying.
- Application Period I of the present academic year is for those seeking admission in September of the present academic year or April of the following academic year
- Application Period II of the present academic year is for those seeking admission in April or September of the following academic year
Admission Quota

(The number refers to the total number of students admitted in April and September combined, through four application categories in each academic year.)

Master of Media and Governance
In addition to the Master's Degree, a research specialty certificate signed by the Dean of the Graduate School of Media and Governance is also awarded to those students who fulfill all the requirements of his/her research specialty.
Application Categories
The master's program has four categories for application such as “General Entrance Examination: Application Application from within Japan ”, “General Entrance Examination: Application from Overseas”, “General Entrance Examination: Career Professionals”, “International Advanced Degrees Course: Application from within Japan” and “International Advanced Degrees Course: Application from Overseas”. There is no application category only designated for international students.
