Keio University applies a sliding scale to the Tuition Fee and the Facility and Equipment Fees.Students are expected to pay above-mentioned fees determined by using this scale every year.

Scholarships of The Graduate School of Media and Governance

The Young Leaders Scholarship

This scholarship is given to new students of high scholastic standing for their first year at the graduate school.Those who wish to receive this scholarship can apply at the time of graduate school application.Recipients will be announced together with successful applicants of the graduate school admission.

GAO Scholarship

This scholarship is given to students of high scholastic standing who enroll in the Master's Program.Recipients receive one million yen worth of the course fee at the time of enrollment.Students are able to extend the period of scholarship for a maximum of two years (minimum term of study) depending on positive evaluation of their academic grades and other performance at the University.

Research Grants

Taikichiro Mori Memorial Research Grants

The purpose of the grants is to encourage education and research at the Graduate School of Media and Governance.

Graduate Student Researcher Development Grant

The grant is given to research projects with future potentials that are an experimental and/or approaching to a long-term research in the future.The projects must be led by project leaders who are Doctoral or Master's students of the Graduate School of Media and Governance.

Amount of Grant
Doctoral Students: A maximum of 400,000 yen will be awarded to each successful applicant
Master's Students: A maximum of 300,000 yen will be awarded to each successful applicant

International Academic Conference Presentation Grant

The grant is given to Master's and Doctoral students of the Graduate School of Media and Governance.A maximum of 200,000 yen will be awarded to each successful applicant.

Grants for the Advancement of Research at the Graduate Schools of Keio University
The purpose of the grants is to encourage research at the Doctoral Program of the Graduate Schools of Keio University.The grant is given to excellent research projects conducted individually or collaboratively.

慶應義塾大学博士課程学生研究支援プログラム or Keio University Doctoral Students Research Support Program
The grant is given to fundamental / embryonic researches conducted by Doctoral students that are important, but difficult to be recognized by other grant programs.
