The Foundation offers grants-in-aid for research plans submitted by individuals or groups of students.

The Masatada Kobayashi Grant

[小林正忠教育奨励金](P/M, E/I, N/M, H/M)
This grant offers financial assistance to students to pay their Tuition Fee. This assistance is given to those students who can work to promote the reputation of the Keio University SFC through individual activities inside and outside the campus. Mr. Masatada Kobayashi is one of the first graduates of the Keio University SFC.

Research Grants Supported by the Framework for the Promotion of Policy Studies by SFC Students (FPPS)

It offers financial assistance for fieldwork research to voluntary groups of students or research projects.

SFC Grant for Fieldwork Overseas Supported by "Design the Future Fund"

[未来先導基金プログラムSFC海外フィールドワーク助成制度](P/M, E/I, N/M)
Supported by a portion of contributions raised through the 150th Anniversary Commemorative Project, the grant is given to students who conduct fieldwork research overseas. The recipients must pass the screening, take designated courses and conduct fieldwork research outside Japan.

SFC Grant for Fieldwork Research in China Supported by Ikai Group

[SFC・イカイ中国研究活動助成制度](P/M, E/I, N/M)
Through the courtesy of IKAI, Inc. group, the grant is given to students who conduct fieldwork research in China. The recipients must pass the screening test, take predetermined courses and conduct fieldwork research in China.

The Yoshiko Aota Memorial Scholarship

[青田与志子記念教育研究奨励基金奨学金](N/M)
This scholarship is given to students who conduct research on nursing, public health, medical care, and welfare overseas.

The Young Leaders Scholarship

(M/G)
This scholarship is given to new students of high scholastic standing for their first year at the master's or doctoral program. Those who wish to receive this scholarship can apply at the time of graduate school application. Recipients will be announced together with successful applicants of the graduate school admission.

GAO Scholarship

(M/G)
This scholarship is given to students of high scholastic standing who enroll in the master's program. Recipients receive one million yen worth of the Tuition Fee at the time of enrollment. Students are able to extend the period of scholarship for a maximum of two years (minimum term of study) depending on positive evaluation of their academic grades and other performance at the University.
