Special Students

Keio University has Special Students system that enables students to enroll in, audit classes or receive advice from teachers on their research work. Some of the undergraduate courses are accepting Non-Degree Students (With Credits) and Auditing Students, and some of the graduate school courses are accepting Non-Degree Students (With Credits). Research Students can seek advice on academic matters from their academic advisors. The application guidebook explains the difference between the status and the qualification of applicants.

Auditing Students of Undergraduate School To audit classes (Not to earn credits) Students may not sit for examinations and get neither credits nor grades.
Research Students of Graduate School To receive academic advice  

The Graduate School of Media and Governance also has a"Non-Degree Students Taking e-Courses (With Credits)" system. Students are able to obtain credits without coming to the campus by watching video-recordings of classes on the Internet and by submitting assignments. (available in Japanese only)
